Being Prepared, Staying Connected: Supporting Aging Parents with Confidence
Wednesday, March 25,  6:30-7:30
New Canaan Library – Jim and Dede Bartlett Auditorium

Do you feel prepared to support aging parents with confidence? Are you also thinking ahead about your own longevity? Please join us for a lively and practical conversation about what matters as families age. We will focus on legal, financial, medical, housing, and caregiving decisions that help older adults live well as they age. We’ll also rely on good humor as we address common challenges that can strain relationships, jeopardize caregiver health, and waste precious time or money.

The evening is sponsored by Staying Put in New Canaan, in partnership with The New Canaan Library and The New Canaan Community Foundation and will be led by Janet Simpson Benvenuti, founder of Circle of Life Partners and author of Don’t Give Up on Me! Supporting Aging Parents Successfully.

Janet brings a rare blend of expertise and empathy, shaped by her background as a scientist and pharmaceutical executive, and by her own experience in her thirties juggling a household with two demanding careers, two parents in declining health, and two toddlers. Her insights are practical, compassionate, and real. With 20 years of experience in this field, Janet is one of the nation’s leading advocates for families navigating aging.

Registration link to reserve your spot and join the conversation will be available soon.   A complimentary copy of the book will be available for those attending the presentation.
